Large sale in the works

After 12 years working with customers—whom he treats like family—Beckham said he decided to close shop to retire. Shoppers looking for great deals on jewelry should visit the huge retirement sale at Beckham Custom Jewelry off Interstate 55 in Jackson. Expect rare deals on high-quality jewelry, including diamonds, gold, engagement rings, gemstones and unique pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

Giving back to the community

Beckham Custom Jewelry has been actively involved in the community by supporting various organizations and charities over the years. They include St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Junior League of Jackson, Children’s of Mississippi Hospital and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi.

A bittersweet retirement

Although he’s closing shop, Beckham intends to remain in the community. He also wants to spend more time enjoying the simpler things in life, such as unplugging over a good book or painting.

He’ll miss mingling with customers, many of whom have become friends. “Having friends pop in for a visit is great,” he said. “It’s something I will miss.”
