Here are the top stories today in Jackson:
- Children's of Mississippi online wish lists are encouraging the community to help with gift giving. Holiday wish lists for toys and supplies offer the community a chance to buy gifts to support families and children this season. All gifts will be shipped to the children's hospital o the University of Mississippi Medical Center campus. (Hattiesburg American)
- The East Mississippi Veterans Memorial Park moves forward with a donation from the Sonny Montgomery Foundation. The foundation's mission is to support veterans and veterans' causes throughout the state. East Mississippi Veterans Foundation President mentioned the importance of having a place to "recognize and honor the military service men and women from East Mississippi." (Meridian Star)
- Mississippi healthcare workers are fatigued as new coronavirus variants arise. (WJTV)
- The U.S. Fifth Circuit heard oral arguments in the Jackson airport takeover case, and city and state leaders await their decision. (WLBT)
