🌱 Cows Stroll Through Belhaven + Two New Municipal Court Judges

Welcome back, Jackson! Let's get you started this Wednesday with everything you need to know going on today in town.

Here are the top three stories today in Jackson:

  1. The Belhaven neighborhood experienced a bizarre sight when some cows took a stroll after breaking out of their enclosure. The cows reportedly got loose from the Dixie Challenge at the State Fairgrounds. Thankfully, the cows made their way back to the fairgrounds because all of the cows were eventually accounted for.   2. Jackson's Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame will receive some improvements after the legislature earmarked $3.5 million for the facility. The improvements will likely be for the front entrance and lobby area. The restrooms will also be renovated and some additional areas may receive new carpeting. (Northside Sun)
  3. The Jackson City Council has approved two new judges for the Jackson Municipal Court. Lilli Evans Bass and Kevin Bass were nominated by the Jackson Mayor. Click the link to read the two new appointments' backgrounds. (WLBT)
