  1. The Hinds County Sheriff's Office arrested a man who was accused of posing as a deputy and assaulting someone. James Christmas, a 51-year-old, impersonated a deputy in April and held a weapon to a victim's head. There are additional charges pending. (WAPT Jackson)
  2. A Mississippi Department of Corrections probation officer could serve 20 years for alleged embezzlement or be faced with $5,000 in fines for each charge. Dendrick Hurd is accused of embezzling money from people attempting to pay court-sentenced fees and fines. (WLBT)
  3. The third annual Tech Jackson, which highlights the best of Jackson's technology, film music, and food, is being held at Jackson Convention Center through Saturday. (WJTV)
