Here are the top stories today in Jackson:

  1. The Jackson Early Childhood Job Fair will be held on Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jackson Convention Center Downtown. A few childcare employers are looking to fill the workforce and connect education students and retired teachers to job opportunities. (WJTV)
  2. A Mississippi school honored its namesake, a well-respected Black educator. Rosa Scott was a leader in ensuring Black children received education during a time when the state was segregated. (The Commercial Dispatch)
