1. A JSU graduate landed a job with one of the largest software companies in the world. 21-year-old Dailyn Hereford is working full-time for Oracle, claiming she got there by taking advantage of opportunities like internships. (WLBT)
2. A Jackson radio station gave away free gas on Tuesday. 99 Jams WJMI partnered with the law firm, Kanner & Pintaluga to host a free gas giveaway at the Pilot gas station on South Gallatin Street. Police said they felt more prepared to handle the giveaway than they were in October. (WJTV)
