- A new playground has opened after two years of construction. The LeFleur's Bluff playground is part of a $4 million project in the LeFleur's Bluff Education and Tourism Complex. Donations from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation helped fund the project. (WAPT Jackson)
- The annual Grand Lighting and Chili Cook-Off were held in Flowood last night at Winner's Circle Park. The Grand Lighting featured music and performances, train rides, hot beverages, and pictures with Santa. The Chili Cook-Off proceeds went toward the Chamber Scholarship Program for local high school seniors. (WJTV)
- Two Gold Coast corporate officials want to be removed from Jackson's lawsuit over alleged damage to the city's sewer system. (Northside Sun)
