The department is currently budgeted for 356 officers and 199 civilian support positions. Wade assures that beats are covered and is actively working with the resources the department has been dealt with. (WLBT)

  3. Jackson's Pearl River is entering a flood stage. The announcement was made by the National Weather Service and indicates that the river's average height will be 28 feet. The rise is attributed to the almost six inches of rainfall that the area received at the beginning of the month. (WJTV)
