Here are the top stories today in Jackson:

  1. A Jackson police officer was injured in an overnight crash on I-220. The officer hit something around midnight and ran off the road. The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and has since been released. (WJTV)
  2. The city of Jackson Water/Sewer Utilities Division has issued a precautionary boil water advisory due to the recent loss in water pressure. The areas included in the boil water advisory are Bristol Boulevard and Avian Lane. Residents will be notified when the advisory has been lifted and can call for more information. (WAPT Jackson)
  3. EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan will be visiting Jackson on Monday, Nov. 15, as the first stop on his "Journey for Justice" tour. (WJTV)
  4. COVID-19 vaccinations for children aged five to eleven are now available through the University of Mississippi Medical Center. (Vicksburg Post)
