🌱 'Prove 'Em Wrong' Signs In Jackson + Mental Health Town Hall

Here are the top three stories in Jackson today:

  1. Over the past months, signs with the message "Prove 'Em Wrong" have been popping up across Jackson. Local advocate Vince Gordon is behind the signage, which he hopes to stop gun violence in the city, especially among Black youth. Gordon has received donations from Jackson police officers, businesses, and more to spread the message. (WLBT)
  2. On Saturday, Mar. 26, Hinds Behavioral Health Services will host its I Am "Mental Health" Fair and Town Hall. The event will take place in the clinic's parking lot and conference area from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a community roundtable on COVID and mental health scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy free health screenings, food trucks, music, prizes, and more.   3. An early Thursday morning blaze destroyed a home in South Jackson. When fire crews arrived at the residence Pine Tree Drive, the house was completely engulfed in flames; no one was inside the house when the fire started. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. (WAPT Jackson)
