1. Concerns over federal vaccine mandates sparked a rally for medical freedom in Jackson. Many people gathered at the Sillers Outdoor Pedestrian Mall on Saturday to protest the mandates, stating they "infringe on personal liberties." Many held signs with messages that contradict the advice of doctors and health experts. There were even signs on the porta potties that read "Dump Dobbs."(WLBT)
2. A man is in custody after a deadly shooting that took place in early September on Marwood Drive. Two people were shot, and one of them was killed. The man, Jayden Davis, was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault. (WAPT Jackson)
3. A Jackson man was convicted and sentenced on two counts of sexual battery. (WLBT)
