  1. Over the weekend, hundreds of spectators attended a red-carpet event for a film shot in Jackson. The blockbuster movie "A Day to Die" was filmed in Jackson last April. Some cast members include Bruce Willis, Kevin Dillion, and others. The movie will only be released to select theaters. (WLBT)
  2. The Great Southern Gun and Knife Show was held this weekend in Jackson. According to the show's director, there are benefits to buying from the trade show as opposed to a retailer, including better deals and less wait time. The next show will be held in July. (WJTV)
