Police identified the teen who was shot and killed at a Ridgeland apartment complex. 15-year-old Marcus Hemmingway suffered from at least two gunshot wounds in his torso and legs, but he succumbed to his injuries on the scene.   2. Some families are still waiting for pandemic food benefits, according to the Mississippi Department of Human Services. There was inaccurate data provided by school districts that led to delays in the distribution of pandemic food cards to these families. (Jackson Free Press)
