Here are the top stories in Jackson today:

  1. Six people were shot at Top Flight Sports Bar in Hinds County at 1 a.m. on Saturday morning. One had to be air-lifted to the hospital and is listed in critical condition. This shooting is still under investigation. (WLBT)
  2. Jackson police and local ministers are joining forces to help fight crime. On Saturday, as a part of JPD's first-ever Clergy Police Academy, ministers were able to get questions answered about police, bomb squad, and SWAT operations. The goal is to give ministers a look behind-the-scenes at law enforcement. (WLBT)
  3. Gluckstadt Park, a new development, is located on Dees Drive and will be full of shops and restaurants; tenants will be moving into the space on Jan. 1. (Northside Sun)
