  1. A student-run organic garden at Tougaloo has been providing fresh produce for the local community. The college said it would invest about $275K toward the project, and within a year the garden has produced 180 pounds of fresh produce to students on campus, local food pantries, and the community.   2. A $20K IVF grant from the Defiantly Hopeful Foundation made the dream of having a baby within reach for a Mississippi couple. Matt and Sydney DeFillips, both 29 years old, are excited to start the IVF treatment soon. (WAPT Jackson)
  3. More than 14K pandemic food cards were mistakenly deactivated for low-income children in Mississippi, so state officials apologized and promised new cards would be coming out soon. (Jackson Free Press)
  4. The Mississippi Department of Agriculture & Commerce was awarded $500,000 by the United States Department of Agriculture to support Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network State Department of Agriculture projects. (WJTV)
