Here are the top three stories in Jackson today:
- The City of Jackson is hosting a Trash Talk Town Hall today. The event will be at the New Jerusalem Church on Raymond Road at 6:00 p.m. The community is being invited to make public comments on the ongoing trash issue that the city has been experiencing since late March. (Press Release Desk)
- Jackson braced for its second round of severe weather yesterday. Some Jackson residents are still dealing with the fallout from the Mar. 30 storm that toppled trees and downed powerlines. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is tallying up damage numbers in Jackson currently. (WLBT)
- Lawmakers and officials publicly voiced their support for the new golf course at LeFluer's Bluff. The $13.2 expansion at the site will facilitate the construction of the state's only Robert Trent Jones golf course. The Otter Creek Golf Course is expected to officially open to the public in the fall of 2023. (WLBT)
