Nearly 300 Microsoft Surface Pro 7s were purchased for full-time faculty and staff
along with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, travel keyboard (which serves as a screen
cover), docking station, and stylus.
Dr. Kelley Gonzales, associate vice president for technology, said the College obtained
the devices for many reasons, including that to allow for remote teaching and learning.
In addition, the new computers will allow students and instructors to be connected
and engaged, and the computers are to easily connect with the HyFlex equipment in
the College’s classrooms.
