• Residents of Pascagoula apartment complex raise concerns about alleged unsanitary living conditions (wxxv25.com) — Pascagoula residents at Patio Apartments on Pascagoula Street say heavy rains repeatedly leave them without working toilets for days, forcing some to use gas station restrooms or even go outside. Tenants, many on fixed incomes or disabled, describe the situation as unsanitary and say temporary maintenance fixes haven't solved the problem, while management has yet to publicly respond.
• Ingalls Shipbuilding Hosts Navy Future Commission For Industrial Base Review (oceannews.com) — Pascagoula's Ingalls Shipbuilding just hosted the National Commission on the Future of the Navy, giving federal leaders a close look at local shipbuilding capacity, training, and investment. With 13 ships under construction and more deliveries coming, the visit underscores how Pascagoula's workforce and facilities factor into long-term Navy planning and national seapower.
• WLOX announces Game of the Week, releases new top 10 rankings ahead of Week 6 (wlox.com) — High school football fans will notice Pascagoula dropped out of WLOX's Week 6 South Mississippi rankings after a loss to Gulfport, though the Panthers still received votes. The updated top 10 highlights strong regional rivals and previews Pass Christian's big matchup with Greene County later this week.
