• EEOC Sues Bollinger Shipyards for Continuing Disability Discrimination (eeoc.gov) — Federal civil-rights officials have sued Bollinger Shipyards over allegedly discriminatory hiring practices at its Pascagoula shipyard, claiming job offers were pulled after learning about applicants' prescription medications. The EEOC says the company relied on drug-label side effects instead of evaluating individuals' actual abilities, and is asking a Mississippi federal court to enforce disability protections for local and regional workers.
