15 Claim to Have Left Goodwill Mystery Money
Goodwill hoped to return the $14,505 donation left mistakenly, but now will leave the matter up to the courts.
Surprising probably no one, a lot of people want $14,000.
STLToday reported Tuesday that after Goodwill announced the donation, , they received calls from 15 people seeking to claim the cash.
The $14,505 was found as stacked large bills in a box left in a donation bin last May 8 at the South County Goodwill. Immediately after the news was released, people began calling to claim the money. Some didn't have their facts straight and were dismissed.

According to STLToday, Goodwill has decided to let the St. Louis County Court make a decision from amongst the remaining callers.
