Adoptable Dogs: Meet Sophie the Beagle/Basset Hound

Meet Sophie a 9-year-old beagle/basset hound mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. 

Sophie is a St. Louis Senior Dog Alumna, about 2 years ago this little lady was almost put down at a local animal control however she was taken in by the group and found a home. Unfortunately her former owner recently passed away and Sophie is now looking for a home again. She is a very laid back pooch and would be an easy companion, she enjoys naps, cuddles and walks with plenty of sniffing. She is a hound so she would like to go to a home that has a fence so her nose doesn't get her in to trouble and she ends up wandering. 

Sophie would make a wonderful addition to any household, she does get along with other dogs at her foster home but would not mind being the only dog either.
