Affton-Based Haberberger Inc. Aquires Sheet Metal Company
The mechanical contracting company expands by buying a Weldon Spring-based family business.

Affton-based , a mechanical contracting company, has announced that it recently acquired Weldon Spring-based Harke Heating and Air Conditioning.
As part of the acquisition, Bob Harke, former president of Harke Heating and Air Conditioning, has joined Haberberger as Sheet Metal Operations Manager, where he is responsible for running the sheet metal division. According to a Haberberger press release, Harke, of St. Peters, has an extensive background in sheet metal, having worked at the family owned company for 35 years, 13 of which he spent as president.
The five other Harke employees have joined Haberberger as well, reported the St. Louis Business Journal.

"In this challenging economic climate, Haberberger is thrilled to have the opportunity to offer sheet metal services and expand our capabilities in the St. Louis region and beyond," said Neil Haberberger, company president, in the press release. "Bob's expertise in sheet metal operations will allow us to better serve our existing clients, while also giving us the opportunity to serve new customers whose needs we are now able to meet."
Haberberger, Inc. is a 63-year-old mechanical contracting company that offers complete HVAC installation, customized maintenance programs, design-build services, process piping and piping fabrication, sheet metal services, and refrigeration and energy management services.
