Affton High Dedicates Memorial Bench to Emily Dreiman

A new memorial bench murdered student Emily Dreiman has been installed in front of the school. The bench was purchased by the Affton Parent Boosters of the class of 2011, who gathered with some of Emily's friends and family Tuesday night for a small memorial ceremony.

Dreiman was in her home along with her family on the morning of her last May, the victim of domestic violence turned murder-suicide.

Affton parent Sue Culli said Dreiman's brother Jeremy attended the ceremony and told everyone how much the bench would have meant to his sister.

The boosters plan to purchase planters to put on each side of the bench in the spring and plant flowers.
