Affton Precinct Police Blotter: Lawn Mower Pushed With Car

Friday, July 8
A student at Lindbergh High School reported his cell phone stolen. However, he later located the lost phone.
A man who fled in a white minivan robbed the Electro Savings Credit Union at 12400 Tesson Ferry Rd.

A toolbox containing miscellaneous tools was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 12600 block of Old Tesson Ferry Road in Concord.

A television was stolen in a burglary of a home in the 8900 block of Provo Lane in Affton.
Monday, July 11
In the 5600 block of Golf Ridge Drive in South County, a PlayStation 3, video games, television and cash were reported stolen in a burglary.
Four Chevrolet Camaros were stolen from Bommarito car dealership at 6177 Lindbergh Boulevard. All four vehicles were recovered in Wellston with the help of OnStar.
In the 9600 block of Radio Drive in Affton, construction equipment was stolen from a trailer parked in a driveway.
In the 5000 block of Langley Avenue in Affton, a safe deposit box containing cash and personal records was stolen in a burglary.
Copper piping was reported stolen from an empty apartment in the 9500 block of Hyde Park in Affton.
Tuesday, July 12
A red 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche was reported stolen from the 9400 block of Dorisann Court in Affton.
Wednesday, July 13
A pistol was reported stolen. However the gun had been mistakenly taken by another patron of the Jay Henges practice firing range. Upon realizing the error, the gentleman brought the weapon to the range to be returned to its proper owner.
Thursday, July 14
A white 1991 Ford F-150 was reported stolen from the intersection of I-55 and Union Road.
In a case that dates back to February, $675 was reported missing from a bank deposit in the 12700 block of Southfork Avenue in South County.
A lawn trimmer, leaf blower and lawn edger were stolen from a tool shed in the 4100 block of Grasso Avenue in Affton. The suspects also attempted to steal a riding lawn mower by pushing it with their vehicle. In doing so, they damaged the mower and decided to leave it behind. The mower was recovered at the intersection of Grasso Avenue and Union Road.
