On August 13th, the St. Louis Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center partnered with a local Sea Scouts troop to provide free backpacks and school supplies for middle school children. The promotion, which took place at our Cherokee store location, was a true community event, displaying the generosity of the Ship 9 Belleville Chapter Sea Scouts BSA and the volunteers involved. Major K. Kendall Mathews, administrator of the St. Louis ARC, made it a priority to help out himself at the event. If you did not get the opportunity to save yesterday, feel free to visit one of our seven local family stores for discounted clothes, shoes, home goods, furniture, and much more.
