National Merit Semifinalists & Commended Students
Cor Jesu Academy is pleased to announce the following six seniors, who have been named National Merit Commended Students in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. The Cor Jesu students are: Emily Karcher, Anna Lehman, Maria Llanos Giraldo, Margaret McDonagh, Chaley Poth and Teresa Wemhoener. Although they will not continue in the 2013 competition for National Merit Scholarships, Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who took the 2011 PSAT.
