Esse Health Tesson Ferry Pediatrics Holds Flu Clinics

Esse Health’s five pediatric offices are currently offering flu clinics for patients to receive the seasonal flu vaccine. Esse Health’s board-certified pediatricians follow the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendation that everyone six months of age and older should get the flu vaccine.

The five pediatric locations include: Esse Health Creve Coeur Pediatrics, Esse Health Florissant Pediatrics, Esse Heath O’Fallon Pediatrics, Esse Health Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine at Watson Road, and Esse Health Tesson Ferry Pediatrics. For specific times and dates the flu vaccine is being offered, please visit www.essehealth.com/fluclinic.php

Getting the flu vaccine is the best protection against the seasonal flu, which is a contagious respiratory illness caused by flu viruses. Approximately 5-20 percent of U.S. residents get the flu each year, according to flu.gov, a website managed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. The flu season is typically in the fall and winter, occurring as early as October.
