St. Louis College of Pharmacy President Named Honorary Chair of 2012 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes

 Super Heroes to Everyone With Diabetes

 

A super hero is dedicated to protecting the public.  That is why JDRF Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois Chapter is proud to announce that Dr. John A. Pieper, President of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy is the Honorary Chair of the 2012 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes.

 

“St. Louis College of Pharmacy and I are honored to team with JDRF in the search for ways to prevent, better treat, and ultimately cure type 1 diabetes. Pharmacists are the most accessible health care professionals in each community, so it is appropriate that pharmacists and the College are at the forefront of helping all T1D patients effectively manage their disease,” said Dr. John A Pieper.

 

The 2012 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held on Sunday, October 7 – Upper Muny Parking in Forest Park. 

You Can Be a Super Hero to Someone with T1D
