To My Neighbors,
My name is Colin Hoock. I am 14, and a Life Scout with Troop
335 at Mary, Queen of Peace. I am
going to be doing my Eagle Scout project for the City of Shrewsbury.
As you may know, this year is the 100th
anniversary of the city of Shrewsbury. To commemorate this, I will be building
a wall, 10 feet long and 4 feet high, in front of the 3 flag poles on the
triangle of property between Laclede Station, Murdoch, and Wilshusen Ave. It
will say, Shrewsbury, It’s home!

Because this is my Eagle Scout project, it will be done at
no cost to the city of Shrewsbury, and I will have to raise the $2000 necessary
to complete this project. What I propose to do is this: Everyone who is willing
to make a donation of at least $100 will have their name placed on a cast
aluminum plaque that will be mounted to the wall. If I raise more than the
$2000 I need for the project, all the extra money will be given to the city
If you would like to make a donation for my project, you can
contact me by phone at 314-420-1650 or via email at butmomwhy@gmail.com. Checks can be made
out to Colin Hoock, and in the memo put Eagle Scout Project, and mailed to 7312
Melbourne Ave., Shrewsbury, MO
63119. Also, please tell me how you would like your name written on the
plaque.
