St. Louis-based author and Coretta Scott King Award recipient Patricia McKissack will present a program for families about her books, which span over 200 years of African American experience. The program is free, however, due to space limitations reservations are required. Call 842-1867 to make reservations.
Students and teachers (with ID) in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of Scraps of Time: Away West or Dear America: A Picture of Freedom! Other books will be available for purchase. A book signing will follow the program.
