National Park Service Junior Ranger Day

The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site invites kids ages five to 14 to embrace their inner park rangers and explore the national trails for free. Journal your explorations like Lewis and Clark, practice your map-making skills, trade on the Santa Fe trail and compare 19th and 20th century travel on the Pony Express.

Those who complete the activities will earn Junior Ranger badges, patches and certificates. All kids must be accompanied by an adult, and groups of 10 or more should make reservations.
