"She was supposed to graduate from Affton High School tonight," he said.

Interim Affton school superintendent Ken Weissflug said he couldn't comment on the residents of the home because of the ongoing investigation. He said graduation was scheduled at 7 p.m. at Affton High and that is was too soon to say whether any changes would need to be made in that schedule.

"We always have plans in place; at this point, we just don't know," he said.

Yvonne Terry, who also lives on Mathilda, said the family who lived in the house was quiet.

"This is a first for this neighborhood," she said. "Nothing ever goes down here."
