Patch editors spotted these costumed superheroes kicking back before the midnight showing of The Avengers.
Thursday night Marvel superhero fans poured into for the midnight release of The Avengers. Among them were Patch editors Andrew Hudson, Sarah Flagg, Ryan Martin and Doug Miner (plus friend-of-Patch Gwen Ragno). It was no Harry Potter opening, but we did spot fans sporting costumes of their favorite Marvel characters—and a few were even taking a moment before the show to grab a beer or quick cigarette.
