Police Blotter: Domestic Assault, Stolen Tailgates
The weekly Affton and Shrewsbury crime summary for Feb. 4-10.

Friday, Feb. 4
Shrewsbury Police were called to investigate a domestic assault at 8 p.m. in the 7100 block of Weil Avenue. An intoxicated Shrewsbury man was arrested after he allegedly got into a verbal argument with his wife and hit her in the face. The report was forwarded to the local prosecuting attorney.

Another case of domestic assault was reported at an apartment on the 7700 block of Olde English Road in Affton. The suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a knife.
Shrewsbury police are looking for a white vehicle with front bumper damage that left the scene of an accident in the 7800 block of Weil Avenue. The accident took place just after midnight, when the white vehicle allegedly struck the front bumper of a parked 1999 Hyundai and continued driving eastbound without stopping to exchange insurance information

Sunday, Feb. 6
Shrewsbury police issued a citation to an Affton woman for shoplifting $35 worth of merchandise at Dierbergs, 7233 Watson Rd.
A theft was reported on the 4700 block of Hannover Avenue in Affton. A television and video game system were stolen.
Monday, Feb. 7
A purse, along with cell phone, wallet and credit cards, was reported stolen in the 10100 block of Gravois Road in Affton.
A purse, with electronics and credit cards, was also reported stolen in the 9500 block of Tesson Ferry Road in Affton.
Wednesday, Feb. 9
Pickup truck tailgates were reported stolen from a car dealership at 6127 Lindbergh Blvd.
