Police Say Vine Street Family Was Fatally Shot

The four family members in their Affton home on Friday were shot, St. Louis County Police confirmed Tuesday.

Dennis Worden, 50; Dianna Worden, 44; Brandon Greene, 26; and Emily Dreiman, 18 were found Friday morning at 5352 Vine Ave. Emily Dreiman was scheduled to .

Police said that while they were investigating the case as a homicide, they believed the violence resulted from a domestic situation in the home. They are not searching for an outside suspect.

County Police spokesperson Rick Eckhard said that police had no other new information about the case that they were ready to release. More information is expected when the medical examiner’s report is completed.

Ron Monks, who lives across the street on Mathilda, that he heard what he thought were three gunshots around 10 a.m.

"I heard three loud pops, and I thought they were fireworks with the Memorial Day holiday and all," he said. "Then the police arrived."
