June 10, 2013 The Gravois Kiwanis Club has awarded 4 - $ 1000.00 college Scholarships to 4 local area high school students. The students are from Affton Senior High School, Hancock Place Senior High School and Oakville Senior High School. These awards were given at the 25th Annual Kiwanis Scholarship Luncheon. Each year a group of local high school students are judged by a scholarship nominating committee on the basis of academic performance and financial need. To date, the Gravois Kiwanis have given over $ 70,000. in scholarships, to local high school students. The Gravois Kiwanis has been helping groups and individuals in need, for over 76 years. Kiwanis is a global organization, with local volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Order of Persons in Photo Left to Right…..
