Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Blues Tix Stolen!

Tuesday, Jan. 10
Police arrested an Affton man regarding a felony theft that took place at 9 a.m. January 10 in the 7200 block of Nottingham Avenue. $1,150.00 worth of roofing tools was reported taken by the suspect from his employer. The suspect never returned the tools, and it was discovered that he pawned the tools at a shop in South St. Louis County.

At 10:30 a.m. unattended laundry was stolen from an apartment complex laundry facility in the 800 block of Ravensridge Drive. Police are seeking a white male in his 40’s, approximately 5 foot 11 inches tall, wearing a white sweat shirt, that was seen near the facility after the laundry was reported missing.

Police investigated thefts from three parked vehicles at Power House Gym, 7435 Watson Rd. between the hours of 4:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. There was no forced entry into two of the vehicles, but the third vehicle had a broken window. The property taken from the vehicles included a purse, wallet, credit cards, a laptop computer, St. Louis Blues Tickets and various articles of clothing. Police would like to remind everyone not to leave valuables unattended in vehicles.
