Shrewsbury Police Blotter: BMW Abandoned After Accident
The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Thursday, Feb. 2
At 11:30 p.m. police recovered and towed an abandoned BMW from the 7600 block of Kenrick Manor Drive. The vehicle had been in an accident and the driver left the scene prior to police arriving. The next day police arrested a Shrewsbury man who was the owner and driver of the BMW. He was issued a citation to appear in municipal court for Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

Police located marijuana in a vehicle after a traffic stop in the 7200 block of Watson Road. A man from North St. Louis City was issued three citations to appear in municipal court.
Police were called to the 7500 block of Suffolk Avenue to investigate a theft. The resident reported that he boyfriend took her Samsung television and her Nintendo Wii game system. Police are seeking a man form North St. Louis City for questioning.

Tuesday, Feb. 7
A Florissant man was arrested after a traffic stop in the 7200 block of Murdoch Avenue and he was issued citations for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, Feb. 8
Police obtained warrants from the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office for the arrest of man from North St. Louis City stemming from an investigation in the 7700 block of Bellstone Road. The suspect allegedly stole checks from a check book while attending a party at the apartment and he used the checks to purchase food and pay utility bills.
Thursday, Feb. 9
Update: police have developed a suspect and are seeking the man for questioning related to stealing copper gutter downspouts in the 7500 and 7600 blocks of Suffolk Ave.
