Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Boyfriend Is Neighborhood Burglar

Monday, Mar. 26
Between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, a blue colored vehicle struck the front panel of the passenger side of parked silver, Volkswagen Jetta. The blue vehicle left the scene of the accident without exchanging insurance information. If anyone witnessed this accident, contact Shrewsbury Police at 314-647-5656.

At 4 p.m. police arrested a man from North St. Louis City and questioned him with regard to the theft of his girlfriend’s television from her home in the 7600 block of Suffolk Avenue and the theft of copper downspouts from two homes on Suffolk Avenue. Formal charges are pending a review by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Police arrested an Affton woman at 4 p.m. at 7500 Big Bend Blvd. following a forgery investigation at Regions Bank, 7205 Watson Rd. Bond was set at $7,500.
Friday, Mar. 30
At 12:30 a.m. police investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle at an apartment complex in the 7000 block of Nottingham Avenue and arrested a Shrewsbury man for having a felony probation/parole absconder warrant from the State of Missouri related to check fraud.
