Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Grove Ave Burglar Arrested

Tuesday, Apr. 24
At 7:10 p.m. police investigated the theft of a 2004 Honda Motorcycle from 7740 Attingham Lane. The motorcycle was taken sometime between Tuesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. and Thursday, April 19 at 7 p.m. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department recovered the stolen motorcycle and a suspect has been developed.

A diamond ring with a white gold band was reported lost or stolen from an Affton resident while she was at , 7229 Watson Rd. The victim told police she last saw her ring on Tuesday, April 10 at 2:30 p.m. when she removed it from her finger and placed it in her pants pocket.
At 7:10 p.m. police received a call for a burglary in the 800 block of Diehnwells. Sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., someone pried the window open on an apartment, entered the residence and stole two pieces of jewelry and some medication.

Update: Police arrested a suspect in the in the 7800 block of Grove Avenue and are seeking formal charges.
