Affton was just 11-12 last season, yet used a late-season push to improbably make the district championship game against Class 3 champion DuBourg. However, at 0-6, Affton first needs to notch a victory to get some momentum rolling. The Cougars play at Fox on Monday night at 4 p.m. and Affton-Shrewsbury Patch will be on the scene. Look for our expanded Affton season update and a game recap next week.

(The orginal version of this story had Affton playing on Friday night. The game had been re-scheduled withour our knowledge.)
