Ted Drewes Is Open
The beloved frozen custard stand on Chippewa is back in action after its winter hiatus.
It's been a hard winter wait, but Ted Drewes Frozen Custard stand, located at 6726 Chippewa St., finally opened for the year on Wednesday.
Just across the St. Louis City border from Affton and Shrewsbury, Ted Drewes has been selling its famous concretes since 1929 and is a favorite of sports fans returning from Cardinals or Blues games.
For their opening, Ted Drewes staff are giving out magnets to their first wave of customers. Supplies are limited.
