Volunteer at the South County Senior Center to deliver hot nutritious meals to home-bound seniors. Delivery times are normally around 10:30 AM and routes typically take approximately an hour. . Currently we have several routes available: Weekly Monday, Tuesday, and Friday routes , 1st, 3rd, and 5th ( when ocurring) Thursday of the month, and the second Friday of the month.
Delivery drivers don't just deliver a meal. For some of our home-bound seniors they are the only face to face contact they will receive that day. It only takes a short time to make a big difference.
