Thanks to the Arnold Patch for listing the few remaining fireworks shows for the 4th....I went to Desoto, Mo...thought I was at the VP fair fireworks.....thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people.....cars lined up for miles along the road and the high school grounds where the fireworks were being conducted was just a mass of humanity...as far as you could see....
they had patriotic music and a narration and the demonstration lasted 40 minutes...the finale was perhaps one of the best I have seen....everybvody was laughing, cheering, and oooing and ahhhing..it was pretty great.....a good time had by all....I am sure Desoto didnt expect that huge of a turnout...the police were cool with all the parking along 21 as far back the desoto shopping center..cars parked along both sides of the road......great stuff......Real Americana!!
