Chromebook, Tablet and E-book Seminars

The Windsor Branch of the Jefferson County Library at 7479 Metropolitan Blvd., Barnhart is offering three computer seminars during January, 2015. All seminars are offered from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Handouts will be provided. There is no cost to the public for these seminars. Seating is limited: call the library at 636.461.1741 for a reservation.

Chromebook Computer Seminar, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
This seminar provides basic instruction on how to use a Chromebook computer. If you have questions about the Chromebook computer or haven’t a clue as to what it does, let us show you. We have four Chromebook computers available or you can bring your own.

Tablet Computer Seminar, Thursday, January 29, 2015 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This seminar offers basic instruction on how to use a tablet computer. If you have a new tablet computer and haven’t a clue as to what it does, let us show you the basics. The instruction will include Apple (iPad), and Android (almost everything else) operating systems.

E-book Seminar, Thursday, February 5, 2015 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Basic instruction will be provided on how to use your device to download and read E-books. If you have a new tablet or E-reader and haven’t a clue as to how to use it, let us show you the basics on how to download and read E-books on your new device. The instruction will include Apple (iPad), and Android (almost everything else) operating systems.
