Do You Want Fries With That Fox Schools Fundraiser?

See photos from a McDonald's "McTeachers Night" fundraiser that will benefit students from three Fox School District schools.

Chris Simokaitis, principal at Seckman Elementary School, was hanging out at the Richardson Ridge McDonald's Tuesday night, greeting students as they stopped by for burgers.

She said the McTeacher's Night fundraiser is the easiest they've done, and last year her school earned $1,200.

"They don't make us work, and we don't have to turn in fliers," she said.

Simokaitis asked students to turn in color-coded fliers to identify what grade they were in. Later, the school will tally up the fliers and award Happy Meals to the grade with the highest participation.

All three Arnold McDonald's locations participated in the fundraiser and will give 20 percent of their profit earned from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday to the school they sponsored.

Participating in the fundraiser were:

Ridgewood Middle School: McDonald's at 130 Arnold Cross Roads
Seckman Elementary: McDonald's at 2005 Richardson Rd.
Rockport Elementary: McDonald's at 3996 Jeffco Blvd.
