Rescheduled Date Announced After Fox Football Rainout

The Friday night varsity football game was called off due to thunderstorms.

Lightning and pouring rain Friday night caused school officials to postpone the varsity football game between Fox and Northwest high schools.

The game will be replayed Saturday night, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at in Arnold.

The players never took the field while a dozen or so fans huddled in rain ponchos under the stands. More waited out the rain in their cars.

The game was called due to lightning by 7:15 p.m.
