Hammers of Hope Announces AC for Seniors 2014

Hammers of Hope, a program of Jefferson County Community Partnership is accepting applications for its third “AC for Seniors” Campaign this summer.  “AC for Seniors 2014” is intended for low income seniors, 60 and older, who have an immediate need for air conditioning.   Hammers of Hope will provide one 6,000 BTU Frigidaire window unit to qualified seniors who live in Jefferson County, have submitted a completed application and proof of income documentation.  Once the application has been approved, Hammers of Hope volunteers will deliver and install the units. There are 30 units available and they will be awarded on a first come first served basis to those who provide all the needed paperwork.

For an application or further details contact Hammers of Hope coordinator Dennis Murphy at 636-465-0983 x106 or by e-mail at coordinator@jccp.org.  Applications can also be obtained from the web site www.hammersofhope.org.
