Even though Albert is no longer a Cardinal, I am still a huge fan. It was great to learn about Albert as a man not just a baseball player. What a dedicated person. He really persevered from a young man on to get to where he is. Not only is he an amazing baseball player but such a kind heart and giving person. The book talks about his childhood, family, marriage, children, and his foundations, not just baseball. The book follows his journey from a child to his major league career.
