Halloween at Grant’s Farm opens! Celebrate a family-friendly Halloween throughout October at Grant’s Farm! Festivities will take place from 6 - 10 PM on October 10- 11th, 16-19th, 23-26th, 30th.
Campfire - Wolf Howl at Endangered Wolf Center. This popular evening program is a fun and educational opportunity to listen to unique and entertaining stories about wolves around an outdoor campfire.
History Hayrides at Faust Park - Enjoy a hayride after dark around Faust Park! Then wander through candlelit historic homes, where refreshments and storytellers await. Warm up with a bonfire and enjoy live music.
Grooving in the Garden at The Magic House. Join us for a musical extravaganza that’s sure to hit the right note with visitors of all ages. Bring a blanket and sit back and relax or get up and dance while enjoying toe tapping tunes from special musical guests in the Museum’s Play Garden.
Mini Con Madness at St. Louis County Library - Jamestown Bluffs Branch. St. Louis County Library is hosting four mini conventions for teens each Friday in October. Costumes are encouraged & rewarded! Enjoy TV Con (Thornhill), Anime Con (Jamestown Bluffs), Comic Con (Tesson Ferry) and Fantasy Con (Grand Glaize)!

Dance St. Louis Presents New Dance Horizons III Dance St. Louis brings three nationally renowned choreographers to St. Louis, pairing each one with a local professional dance company to create stunning, fresh and distinct world premieres. See The Big Muddy Dance Company, MADCO and Saint Louis Ballet perform new works by some of the country’s most talked-about choreographers.

Gather the family, including canine members, and register for the St. Charles Parks & Recreation ‘s 8th Annual Dogtoberfest & Frenchtown Pet Parade! The event features the pet parade, annual dog bone hunt, costume contest and more!
UNSORTED - Free Performance! from Metro Theater Company. “Unsorted,” a play where clothes are the characters, explores themes of personal identity, belonging, acceptance and self-worth. For ages 5 and up.
The Semi-Annual “Re-Sell-It” SALE from the Greater St. Louis Mothers of Twins Club is one of the largest nonprofit consignment sales in the St. Louis area. Hundreds will shop gently used baby and childrens items, including equipment, toys, clothes, strollers and more, priced at 50-90% off retail.
Lock-n-Dam Cruise at The Gateway Arch. Cruise through the fascinating Mississippi River lock systeman engineering feat that allows boats to travel uphill and downhillas you enjoy a delicious buffet (stuffed chicken breast, salad, veggies, dessert and more) and live Dixieland music.

Visiting Artist Series - Collage at The Magic House. Join us for this month’s visiting artist series - Collage! Start the day off right with a taste of collage from artist Michael Albert, who uses colorful cereal packages to create his works of art. Oct 11-12.

Messy Play Day at Endangered Wolf Center. Kids who are newly walking through age 5 can get as dirty as they want at the Endangered Wolf Center Messy Play Day. The cost is $8 per child. Parents are free. Call 636-938-5900 to make reservations.
Music Under the Stars - Florissant Summer Concert Series at City of Florissant. Free outdoor concerts proudly presented by the Florissant Fine Arts Council and the City of Florissant. All performances take place at St. Ferdinand Park by the lake except as noted.
Oktoberfest Riverboat Cruise at The Gateway Arch. Celebrate Oktoberfest on the Mississippi! Savor an authentic German buffet featuring beef rouladen, bratwurst/knockwurst, sweet and sour cabbage, noodle kugle, and German chocolate cake; and listen to music (or dance!) along to a live German band.
